Stainless steel screws to do surface treatment

When it comes to stainless steel screws, I believe we are all familiar with it, and the scope of application is also very common. Under normal circumstances, the surface of stainless steel screws is smooth, and you do not need to do any surface treatment. But some customers will put forward some surface treatment requirements, one is to be able to meet their own engineering requirements, the second is to be able to raise some aspects of the performance of stainless steel screws, and the third is that the appearance will look more beautiful.

1. Electroplating: The electroplated part is immersed in an aqueous solution containing deposited metal compounds, and the current is passed through the plating solution to precipitate and deposit the electroplated metal on the part. General electroplating has galvanized, copper, nickel, chromium, copper-nickel alloy and so on.

2. Hot dip galvanizing: Through the carbon steel parts immersed in the temperature of about 510in the plating tank of dissolved zinc. The result is that the iron-zinc alloy on the surface of the steel gradually becomes the passivated zinc on the outer surface of the product. Hot dip aluminum plating is a similar process.

3. Mechanical plating: Impact the surface of the product by coating metal particles, and cold weld the layer to the surface of the product. Generally, screws are mostly electroplated, but they are hot-dip galvanized for hexagonal wood screws used in electric power, highways and other outdoor areas. The cost of hot-dip galvanizing will be relatively higher than the cost of electroplating.
